THE GOOD, THE BAD and The UGLY SALE! Chocolate Bronze

When these are pretty there's nothing like them. Hot pink petals with a thick line of a color that is best described by their name, 'chocolate bronze.' This is normally a very expensive cultivar and had she came in perfect this is about a $40 little cluster. They propagate with ease, I have many, many startings of this cultivar in my garden right now. They pup where you behead, they're a propagator's dream. 

This little cluster is missing some leaves and is just generally not in perfect form. There's some green elongation, some bruised tips, nothing atrocious, but she's not perfect. I would give this cluster some time, I think she may grow out of this ugly phase, if she doesn't I would behead every stem and make babies from her.  

This Chocolate Bronze has six individual stems and measures in at about 2.25" across. Not many roots to speak of, but these grow like weeds, you could probably drop the entire cluster on the ground and it would find a way to reproduce. So, I wouldn't worry about the roots, they will come.
