And finally we're closing out tonight's upload with a non-succulent, she's actually a desert moss. I first learned of this plant watching a documentary on plants and just instantly fell in love with what it stands for and just how stinking cool it is. This 'Resurrection' plant is native to the Chihuahuan Desert. It can go decades without water, tumbling around the desert looking for moisture. When it finds water, it immediately springs back into life. The second photo shows it after just six hours in a pebble dish (with some periodic misting). We just got these in store and have some nice sized, quality balls available. It's an easy order add-on and really fun to play with. Most balls will be about 2-3" dried and the dish she's shown open is about 7.5" across.
Please remember to change out her water daily and give her a rest from water on the 7th day. She will need to go at least one week out of the month without any water-- remember she is made to dry up! So if you want one constantly on display, it's better to order a few and rotate them out so they can dry in between.

Is this plant stressed?
If the succulent shown is vibrantly colored, then she is likely exhibiting stress coloration. In order to keep these colors make sure your succulent has bright UV exposure and cooler temps. As the plant establishes in its new home her stress colors may fade a little, however the colors shown here are a natural reaction to her most recent growing conditions.

Do you accept order cancellations?

When and how do you ship?
We ship every Tuesday. If you select UPS your plant should not be in a box for longer than 3 days (we use 2-Day service to the West Coast). We cannot be held responsible for late USPS shipments,(if you select USPS you are accepting the risk of lost/delayed packages).

Where can I add a heat pack?
Our heat packs are (and always have been) complimentary. We feel that it is our responsibility to get your purchase to you safely. That said, heat packs are only necessary if your local temperatures are going to below 32°F for an extended period of time. Heat packs are rated to warm a 12" square box up by 20 degrees, so they can do more harm than good if they are not needed. We will position the heat pack away from the plants inside the box to protect the plants. Our heat packs were purchased on October 20th, 2021 (so they're nice and fresh) and they are rated for 96 hours. Not all heat packs work perfectly every time, there are no guarantees when using heat packs, but we sincerely do our best to protect your plants. You may add a heat pack
