Pachyphytum Sp.

These photos were taken on Saturday, November 9th, 2019.

This little pachy may be trying to crest, one of her leaves is mutated and almost heart-shaped and it's coming out of the center in a spiral growth pattern. Cresting occurs either genetically or when a succulent has had some sort of damage to the center of the rosette, if the damage isn't too bad it alters her tissues and this can result in a plant that starts to mutate and crest. This one may do that or she may straighten back out, I'm not sure. I have never seen one of these in crested form, but she's definitely doing something strange at her core.

She's a nice shade of peach with a sprinkling of raspberry freckles.

This Pachyphytum Sp. is measuring in at 2" across. Mature bare roots from the cultivating farm, no fresh roots yet. She is pulling one mature leaf.

Cedar Creek Farmhouse Identification Number: 072205
