Cresting occurs either genetically or when a succulent has had some sort of damage to the center of the rosette, if the damage isn't too bad it alters her tissues and this can result in a plant that starts to mutate and crest. This one may do that or she may straighten back out, I'm not sure. I have never seen one of these in crested form, but she's definitely doing something strange at her core. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe's a nice shade of peach with a sprinkling of raspberry freckles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Pachyphytum Sp. is measuring in at 2\" across. Mature bare roots from the cultivating farm, no fresh roots yet.
