I was fortunate enough to have two of these already in our stockroom. This darker in the photos than the one we set aside for Jes (and also a little bit more, the Blackbird Jes is getting has some wrinkling and is a little smaller). The reason this one is darker is when I pulled it out of the stockroom it was the first thing, depending on the plant's CAM cycle they will release a great deal of water when they experience temperature swings and this one immediately put on a very fine layer of dew and it appears slightly darker as a result of the water, the other Blackbird was completely dry when photographed. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one measures in at about 2.5\" across, these always have very small imperfections on the outermost leaves. This rosette looks really good to the naked eye in terms of imperfections, but I can see from our photos that she too has a little light scarring on her oldest leaves. She also has a fine layer of pollen, which is really apparent on her dark skin. If I have time I will try to clean this off. You can't see it in our photos because of the dew, but it is obvious when she's dry.
