We saw a few Golden Bears around Thanksgiving, but before that it had been a long time since we had seen true to type Golden Bear. This hybrid was first seen in the US rare succulent scene when we introduced it to our customers in early 2018. These can throw a range of colors depending on regional conditions, UV uptake and temperature. We have seen them in yellow, red, orange and a beautiful rose gold hue. This one is almost bright coral.

This Golden Bear specimen measures in at about 3" across and may drink from a few leaves as she settles in. This specimen is a double. 

This Golden Bear arrived this past week. Some sparse bare roots were left on by the cultivating farm. 

This plant was listed on March 4th, 2023.  Photos were taken within the last 72 hours, under natural light with partial cloud cover. Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered.
