We call these 'broad leaf' echeverias, but these echeverias with wide, flat leaves do not always travel well because they have less water reserves to work with as they travel. This Jyulia was ordered a few weeks back and has been settling in here for about 12 days now.

For this type of echeveria, she traveled extremely well and is starting to firm back up post transit, which is something we wanted to see before we made her available to our customers, but it is possible with this type of plant that she may go a little soft again on the last leg of her journey. It is also possible that she may drink from a leaf or two as she firms back up. This firming up process takes about 3-5 days and then they slowly start acclimating.

You can see in our photos on the right side of the plant where she is currently drinking from that outermost leaf. She will consume this leaf, but still have a really nice shape if she doesn't pull any additional leaves.

Her form is good, no post transit stretching, and she has firmed up really nice for us here. She has not put out fresh roots yet, but would be happy to water propagate for a few days, if you wanted to give her a head start once she arrives home.

She's measuring in at 4" across her widest point. Stem looks healthy and the cultivating farm did leave a small bundle of dormant roots on her. 

This plant was listed on March 4th, 2023.  Photos were taken within the last 72 hours, under natural light with partial cloud cover. Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered.
