Do you remember that old saying-- take a moment to stop and smell the flowers? This does not apply to Stapelia, lol! Ever! This specimen is flowering size and will produce wonderful Starfish like blooms in late summer through autumn, but don't let those pretty flowers fool you. She is a stinker when she blooms. If you are not familiar with this type of plant be sure to look up her blooms. They are some of the most beautiful and unusual flowers around. 

This is an older, mature specimen of Gigantea. She has nine branches, some branches are as tall as 5" and she measures about 4" across. She does have an old scar at her base that has healed over (it will never show because it will be hidden in the soil line, but we like to point out any flaws we see). 

We has a few dormant roots, but this plant will root with ease. Right now she has velvety purple branches, these may go green in the summer months. She is wider with more branches than the angle of this photo shows. Truly a beautiful specimen. 

This plant was listed on March 4th, 2023.  Photos were taken within the last 72 hours, under natural light with partial cloud cover. Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered.
