Um, this another one that personally took my breath away. She has some light scarring-- my husband asked if I was going to list her with the scarring because he knows how particular I am about our quality, but some times I think scars are part of what makes something beautiful. I don't know I'm weird, sorry guys! To me, this one is gorgeous, she looks like she had a rough season and bounced back beautifully and sometimes just the symbolism evokes a feeling in me.

Now if the scarring wasn't there I could easily tell you this is the most stunning Maria I've ever laid eyes on. She is throwing absolutely absurd colors for this cultivar. We don't generally see steel blues and bronze like this. Her variegation is unusual and she might have a mutated gene responsible for her hues.

I don't know what caused her scarring. It could have been edema (someone might have gotten too heavy with the watering can and she swelled) or it could have been a grasshopper that decided this row of leaves in particular were his favorite, or it may have been a fertilizer that caused some sun sensitivity on her newest leaves at the time. She's come through whatever it was and new growth looks amazing.

She's measuring in at about 3.5" across. She does have a little pup on its own stem throwing all of her mom's beautiful colors.

No fresh roots yet, arrived on Thursday.

This plant was listed on November 15th, 2025.  The photo(s) in this particular listing were taken on Thursday afternoon during sunset hours. Colors during the autumn and winter season typically have a blue hue, due to the natural light we see this time of year. Colors may appear slightly different on different displays and in person.

Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered. Plants can pull leaves as they travel and settle in this time of year.

Plants shown may be exhibiting UV stress coloration. Please allow for slight color changes in transit.
