Echeveria Madiba, Carunculated Form

Making our way to one of those unicorns now, tonight we have a very rarely offered true Madiba, not a hybrid with the monstrose carunculated mutation. It is a light porcelain blue and its bumps are very large. It is really nice sized, measuring in at 4" across. 

It did pull some bottom leaves in transit, but it is very cold coming out South Korea right now and I suspect it was a result of cold travel. It has been with us since Monday and has not pulled any additional leaves and leaves in our photos are firm. Very old stem, no fresh roots yet. 

This plant was listed on December 7th, 2024.  Photos were taken within 48 hours of the upload date. The blue light is hard to fight this time of year. What that means is anything with a good dusting of farina will throw much cooler colors and it makes some darker colors appear even darker. So please keep this in mind as you view our plants this evening. 

Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered. Plants can pull leaves as they travel and settle in this time of year.
