The farm identified this one as a Trumpet Pinky cluster, but I think it's is either a hybrid or a mutation. It looks different to other Trumpet Pinkies we've seen in the past and they rarely cluster with so many heads. It definitely has Trumpet genes, there are a few tiny trumpets in the cluster, but I think it's mixed with something else. Trumpets do pull leaves as they settle and I would expect the same from this cluster.
She's measuring in at about 4.5" across and has about nine heads of varying sizes. No fresh roots yet, arrived on Wednesday.
This plant was listed on May 3rd, 2025. The photos of this plant were taken late this afternoon with very cloudy skies. Photos are a little more harsh tonight (meaning there's a lot more shadows and some plants are not photographing as vibrant as they may appear in person, unfortunately). Colors may appear slightly different on different displays and in person.
Slight symmetry and color changes can happen from the time photos were taken until the plants are delivered. Plants can pull leaves as they travel and settle in this time of year.
Plants shown may be exhibiting UV stress coloration. Please allow for slight color changes in transit.
