Echeveria Xichuensis
These photos were taken today, Saturday, October 19th, 2019. This Saturday in Atlanta has been rainy, we typically try to take our photos with adequate natural lighting to prevent wash out of color from our studio lights. Unfortunately today we were unable to do that and these photos were taken under our studio lights, which are very harsh. Colors may be brighter in person, depending on the cultivar.
We have imported this cultivar before, but I have never seen any come in quite this beautifully. Our photos do not do this chiseled beauty justice. She's a very rich eggplant with distinctive chiseled lines. She does have a little minor tip damage, nothing that really detracts from her beauty.
She's measuring in at 3.5" across (also the largest of these we have ever seen). She's stem only, but showing no signs of leaf consumption and has a few fresh root starts.
