Hand-spooled Velvet Ribbon on Wooden Spools

When I worked as an interior designer I learned that there's nothing more elegant for small decor objects than yummy velvet ribbon on a wooden spool. It looks beautiful in a bowl, next to candles on a mantle or even on a bedside table next to a maidenhair fern.

I use this in my own decorating and I hand-spooled each of these. Spools are ever so slightly imperfect, which only add to the charm. They are actually functional too, of course. They look great on a carefully packaged gift as well.

Width is .25" and there's two spool sizes-- small and large. The small spool is 3-5 yards and the large spool is 7-10 yards, just depending on how the ribbon spooled up, each one is a little different, but I tried to make them as full as possible. The large spool measures just a hair under 3" long with a top diameter just a touch smaller than 1.5".

The small measures 2" long and 1" across. 

Last photo shows the difference between the large and small spools. Please note the rest of the colors will show the large spool (even if you select the small spool), these are just color references.

Wooden spool colors will be the same as pictured, unless you email us and indicate that you would prefer something different. If you would like a different spool color, simply email us at design@cedarcreekfarmhouse.com with your order number (and be sure to give us 72 hours, as these are spooled by hand) and we'd be happy to accommodate. If you're ordering as shown, the spools are pre-finished and will ship right out.
