Ludisia discolor ‘Jewelyana’

Jewelyana is probably one of the best loved, well-known Jewel Orchids. Jewelyana is dark form and her her leaves can mature so dark that they are nearly black. I love this particular variety because it looks like God just took a color pencil and drew in the lines by hand-- nature never ceases to amaze me. Each leaf has its own distinct network of sharp veins. This Jewel Orchid likes warm temperatures, high humidity and low light. If growing indoors, a perfect set up would include a terrarium, but a sunny bathroom window is a good spot for them too. I've grown them just fine outdoors here in Florida (our outside humidity is great for them here). If growing outside, a shaded area or a covered porch is ideal. 

We are selling rooted starters. These are shown in a 2" pot for size reference. It is shown in a pot, but will be shipped bare root. These are small plants at this stage.
