Some Gnomas will tend to display a more pointy, longer leaf. We have seen this chubbier, shorter leaf type called 'McCabe.' And this is a beautiful, older specimen of it. We had one during White Peacock that was much larger, but this one is really nice too. We've counted 17 heads on this specimen and she's measuring in at about 4" across. Old, bonsai like stem.
Patience is key with Dudleya, she may take a really, really long time to root. She will hold her shape for a very long time and can even pull moisture out of the air, so do not worry too much during the rooting process. We've had some Dudleya hybrids that have taken a year to produce fresh roots that never pulled a leaf. Each plant is different, but patience is always important with any Dudleya variety.
