I have fallen hard for these beauties and they are finally starting to open up. They protect themselves by emitting a slightly sticky substance (think pancake syrup left over after blueberry waffles on a Sunday morning) to keep those tiny rosettes closed when they are dormant, so we see a lot of these with dandelion fuzz on them once they start to open, but this one is pretty clean and sits atop mahogany branches. Very pretty specimen. I have two more of these, so if you miss this one tonight email me and I will list them in Custom Requests (in the order they were received). 

This one is measuring in at a full 4" across, bare roots from cultivating farm.
