Dioscorea Elephantipes (Seed Grown), (Video)

Hey guys, I do the best I can, but I'm starting wear out tonight. I'm new to some of these conos and Haworthias, so the research portion of this upload tonight has taken me a solid three days. We'll typically have all of our upload on Saturday night, but this week I have some more fun plants to show you, so we'll resume tomorrow evening at 9:45 PM, EST (after I have gotten a little sleep). I know you East Coasters must be tired too. There will be Echeveria and variegated Cactus on that upload and I will look at any special requests we might be able to fill as well.

This is our last plant of the evening. It's a Dioscorea Elephantipes and these are really neat, almost wooden plants that look like turtle shells. I have one in my collection as well. This particular cultivar we always purchase from the same farm, it's not poached. This one is a little lighter than some of the other warm wooden hued ones we've had in the past (the video is a little more accurate on the coloration than our photography stills). This plant measures in at about 2.5" across with a jelly fish like root system.

This plant was listed to our site on July 25th, 2020, photos of this plant were on Thursday (July, 23rd, 2020).

This plant is in house, has been checked for quality and is ready to be shipped. This plant came out of our Cold Stock Room and colors may be a result of cold stress and they may change. You must allow time for your plant to acclimate to room temperatures before moving her outside to full sun/heat.
