The cultivating farm called this a 'Black King.' I haven't seen that name before this season, but I don't order a lot of green Agavoides, so I'm still learning with you guys. He looks similar to others we have seen in the past, but the edges on this one are a richer, truer black than we have seen in the past. He's handsome, but be warned he's small and thirsty too. So he will need some time to plump up and settle in and he may lose a leaf or two in the process. Still pretty closed from shipping. Measures in at about 1.25" across and has sparse roots from the cultivating farm.

Our photos and videos were taken yesterday, May 15th, 2021. Plants shown may be exhibiting winter stress coloration. If the succulent shown is vibrantly colored you will need to keep bright lights and cold temps on the succulent to keep its vivid colors. Stress colors may fade a little as the plant establishes in its new home, but should return in cold weather or high UV conditions.
