Echeveria Longissima, (Germany)
This is the German variety of Longissima. These tend to have leaves that are a little wider and flatter than other forms of Longissima. They also take on a rich red on the underside of the leaves and on outer mature leaves. These have a shape that is very similar to a rose. They are one of my favorite succulents. The centers are green. This one is trying to split off at the center, I've never seen a Longissima do this. Although it is already stunning this particular one will evolve into an exceptional beauty.
You will receive the exact plant pictured. She is going to pull water from the outermost, mature leaves until she sets up roots. She was photographed on 1.26.18, but she may be consuming a few of her outer leaves when she arrives to her new home. Colors can vary on monitors/devices and due to lighting conditions at the time of photography, but we try to represent the true color as accurately as possible. Stress impacts color significantly. So, the plant you receive may change somewhat from the time these pictures were taken to when you receive it, just depending on how it travels, but it should revert back to a color similar to what is shown in the listing photo.
This succulent measures just at 2.75" across and is about 2.5" tall, she is still pretty compact at the time of this listing, I suspect she will be larger than this when she unfurls. No roots, due to strict import requirements. Please do not fret, as these root very easily and if you would like care/info for what to do when you receive it please click here if you need rooting instructions.
