Another classic throw back. We've seen these in recent years with less trumpets and more of a wider leaf, but this looked true to the original form and we snagged it.
These beauties are not the easiest variety to import, as the edges on the outer leaves are always really thin. As it travels it starts to draw down its water reserves out of these tips and there's always a little bit of an ugly duckling stage as it reestablishes, but they're fast growers. I just wanted to point this out, because it will continue to consume its outer leaves until it starts putting out fresh roots (it's just protecting its center growth, which has lots of trumpets forming).
Right now this Trumpet Pinky measures in at about 3" across. Calloused, mature stem. No fresh roots yet, arrived on Thursday.
