Custom Request - (Sedum Suaveolens)
This is a premium Sedum Suaveolens I sourced for you, Anna. I thought this one was a gorgeous, muted pink perfection. It's very good sized, measuring in at 3" across with a pup about an inch across. She is in stock and ready to ship out as soon as tomorrow.
A little info about this cultivar... it is definitively the most un-sedum like of all sedums we've encountered. Its name loosely translates to 'sweet-smelling sedum.' Delicate white blooms emerge from within the rosette, barely reaching over the edges of its leaves. The fragrance of these blooms, as its name would suggest, are sweet-smelling (although this one is in bloom and it smelled like a salad to me, lol!)
This plant has an interesting backstory. It was first discovered back in 1976 by a pair of researchers from the Huntington Botanical Garden growing alongside orchids next to a narrow river canyon in Northwestern Mexico. The pair of researchers described this sedum as "echeveria-like plants, their pure white rosettes growing singly or in clusters to two feet wide."
Sorry, currently out of stock
