Echeveria Lenore Dean
Echeveria Lenore Dean is more commonly known as Compton Carousel. This is a very finicky cultivar and I try to make everyone aware of that before I sell these. They can look absolutely gorgeous one day and start struggling the next. I think the reason is they're highly variegated and their leaves are generally paper thin. I have seen a few Lenore Deans with thicker leaves, but most of the time the rosettes throw very thin leaves and the Lenore Deans we have on our upload tonight are no exception.
So please be patient with this one. Protect from weather extremes and heavy rains until she settles in. I'd be happy to guarantee our Compton Carousels for a period of 30 days, but if she dies after that please know it might be nobody's fault. These can be tricky.
This Compton Carousel is measuring in at about 2.5" across. Nice roots on this one. She will lose some lower leaves as she settles in, this cultivar always does :) Try to be patient with her, this is a very pretty cultivar.
Our photos and videos were taken today, February 27th, 2021. Plants shown may be exhibiting winter stress coloration. If the succulent shown is vibrantly colored you will need to keep bright lights and cold temps on the succulent to keep its vivid colors. Stress colors may fade a little as the plant establishes in its new home, but should return in cold weather or high UV conditions.
